Privacy Policy
Last updated September 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how S2 Industries LLC (“S2 Industries”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses and safeguards information in connection with MowLovin (the “Service”). It applies to visitors to our website, to businesses that subscribe to the Service, and to individuals whose information a subscriber submits to the Service.
1. Two categories of individual, and our role as to each
Subscribers and their Authorized Users. These are the lawn care businesses that register for the Service and the individuals they invite. With respect to account information, S2 Industries acts as a controller and determines the purposes and means of processing.
End Clients. These are the individuals and businesses served by a subscriber, whose information the subscriber enters into the Service. End Clients do not have a direct relationship with S2 Industries. With respect to this information, the subscriber is the controller and S2 Industries acts solely as a processor and service provider, processing it on the subscriber’s documented instructions.
An End Client seeking to access, correct or delete information should contact the business that provides their lawn care services. We will assist that business in responding.
2. Information we collect from subscribers
Account and identity information. Email address, name, telephone number, business name and assigned role. Authentication is handled by our infrastructure provider and we do not have access to your password in plain text.
Business configuration. Crews, service types, pricing, labor cost inputs and operational settings.
Billing information. Where you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We receive and retain a subscription identifier and billing status. We do not receive or store complete payment card numbers.
Usage and technical information. Log data including requests made, error events, timestamps and technical identifiers, used to operate, secure and improve the Service.
3. Information processed on a subscriber's behalf
A subscriber may submit the following categories of information regarding End Clients:
- identifiers and contact information, including name, service address, billing address, telephone number and email address;
- property information, including geographic coordinates, access instructions, gate codes, and notes regarding site conditions;
- commercial information, including services contracted, pricing, service history and payment arrangements; and
- operational records, including scheduled and completed visit times and notes recorded by crews.
This information is processed solely to provide the Service to the subscriber. We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising, do not use it to build profiles, and do not disclose it to other subscribers.
4. How we use information
We process information to:
- provide, maintain, secure and support the Service;
- perform the core functions of the Service, including generating schedules, calculating routes and producing operational reporting;
- process payments and administer subscriptions;
- communicate regarding the account, including service notices, security alerts and changes to terms;
- detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We may derive aggregated and de identified statistical information from use of the Service for the purpose of improving it. Such information does not identify any subscriber, Authorized User or End Client and is not disclosed in a form permitting re identification.
5. Service providers and disclosure
We engage the following subprocessors, each of which receives only the information necessary to perform its function and is bound by contractual obligations of confidentiality and security:
- Supabase, Inc. Database hosting, authentication and file storage.
- Vercel Inc. Application hosting and content delivery.
- Mapbox, Inc. Geocoding and map rendering. Property addresses are transmitted for the purpose of determining coordinates.
- Stripe, Inc. Payment processing for subscriptions. Receives subscriber billing information only.
- Resend, Inc. Transmission of electronic mail, including invitations and service notifications sent on a subscriber’s behalf.
- Anthropic, PBC. Natural language processing for the in product assistant feature. See Section 6.
We may also disclose information where required by law, subpoena or other legal process; where necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of S2 Industries, our subscribers or the public; or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice before information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
6. The in product assistant
The Service includes an optional assistant feature. When a user submits a query to the assistant, the query and the results returned in response to it are transmitted to Anthropic, PBC for the purpose of generating a natural language reply.
The assistant is architected so that database records are not transmitted in bulk: the model composes a structured query, results are computed by our systems, and only the result set is returned to the model to compose a reply. However, a result set may by its nature contain End Client identifiers, including names and service addresses.
Subscribers who do not wish information to be processed in this manner should refrain from using the assistant feature. No other component of the Service transmits data to a language model provider.
7. Communications sent to End Clients
At a subscriber’s direction, the Service may transmit electronic mail to End Clients regarding services performed. Such communications are sent on behalf of and in the name of the subscriber, who is the sender for purposes of applicable law, including the CAN SPAM Act.
Every such communication includes a functioning mechanism to opt out, which does not require the recipient to create an account. Opt out requests are honored promptly and cannot be overridden by a subscriber setting. A subscriber may additionally disable such communications for all of its End Clients.
8. Data retention
We retain information for the duration of the account relationship and as necessary thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
The Service is designed to preserve operational history: terminating a service arrangement or a client relationship marks the record inactive rather than deleting it, as the record of work performed is frequently required for tax and accounting purposes.
Upon written request following account closure we will delete Customer Data. Residual copies may persist in routine backups, which are overwritten within 30 days.
9. Security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. These include encryption in transit, row level access controls enforced at the database layer, and role based restrictions on what each Authorized User may access.
Records are segregated by organization at the database level such that a query originating from one subscriber cannot return another subscriber’s records.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Subscribers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials and for managing the access granted to their Authorized Users.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information we hold about you, and may object to or request restriction of certain processing. Much of this information can be accessed and corrected directly within the Service.
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, disclosed and sold; to request deletion; to request correction; to opt out of sale or sharing; and to non discrimination for exercising these rights. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information.
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states with comprehensive privacy statutes have analogous rights, including the right to appeal a denied request. We honor such requests on the same basis.
To exercise a right, contact support@mowlovin.com. We will verify the request and respond within the period required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete it.
12. International users
The Service is operated in the United States and information is processed and stored there. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States, which may have different data protection rules than your jurisdiction.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Where a change is material, we will provide notice to the email address associated with the account before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
